How long have grade school children brought apples to their teachers? The teachers in my family have told me that it is a tradition harkening back to the pioneer era in the United States when teachers were paid so little that they needed to be given a lunch everyday by the parents of the children they taught in order to survive!
Teachers today may be better paid but little ones still bring juicy apples in the fall months especially, to their classroom teachers. These cyber apples are cute enough to eat but will last much longer on your desktop, email, web pages etc...
apple waves a fork and knife |
apple breaks in two pieces |
apple talks on the phone |
worm in apple licks his lips |
apple twinkle |
blinking apple |
surprise, peek-a-boo apple |
worm eats his apple home |
